But unfortunately this promising market has not been supported by direct flights from India to Bali.

So in terms of cost, compared to other destinations, flights to Bali will be more expensive than other destinations such as to Maldives.

Regarding Indian tourists’ interest in Bali, Arisudhiana said that many Indian tourists spend their time shopping around, enjoying spas, clubs or culinary tours.

Currently, many accommodation providers in Bali have begun to understand how to serve Indian guests. Starting from presenting one of the typical Indian menus to hiring an Indian chef.

Meanwhile, the favorite destinations for Indian tourists when visiting Bali are Kuta, Nusa Penida and Ubud. Indian tourists who come to Bali are usually for holidays, honeymoons, weddings and corporate incentives.

“Indian tourists consider Bali a beautiful place to get married. When they get married, they can rent all of the 400-500 rooms. With hotel types ranging from 4 to 5 stars and also villas,” he said.
