DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The Bali Tourism Office will again carry out routine checks on tourists who have paid or not the Foreign Tourist levy amounting to IDR 150,000. This check will be carried out at the end of April at several tourist destinations.

According to the Head of the Bali Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, at the end of April checks will be carried out at Goa Gajah, Tirta Empul, Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, and Penglipuran Village.

“We target these destinations because the number of tourists visiting is high, and we also wanted to check how many tourists have paid or not,” he said on Monday (April 25, 2024).

Tourists who are found to have not paid the levy yet will be asked to pay on the spot through the available system, namely the lovebali.baliprov.go.id app.

“No payments are made in cash, everything is done online,” he stressed.

Tjok Bagus urges all tourists who have not paid the Foreign Tourist Levy to immediately make payment before arriving in Bali, since the checking also will be carried out routinely at the airport and hotels.
