Immigration Detention House Deports Six Foreign Nationals from Bali

MANGUPURA, Bali (BPN) – Immigration Detention House (Rudenim) Denpasar deported six foreign nationals who violated immigration law and committed crimes on the Island of the Gods.

Among the six foreign nationals are three US citizens, one Hong Kong citizen, one New Zealand citizen, and one Russian citizen for different cases.

The US citizen ADD, 35, and her two kids, ATR, 5, and ZKR, 8, were deported from Bali for staying longer than the allotted 129 days after their permit expired in December 2023.

The family had used a Visit Stay Permit (B211A) which was valid until December 2023. However, they continued to live in Bali due to financial problems.

In mid-January 2024, ADD tried to report it to the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office but was unable to pay the fine.

Meanwhile, KYW from Hong Kong was deported after she was unable to show her travel documents and claimed had lost her passport, making it difficult for her to prove her identity to the authorities.

KYW was then found by the public and secured by the South Denpasar Police after occupying an empty building in Sanur.

She was taken to the TPI Denpasar Class I Immigration Office on December 22, 2023, for further processing.

On the other hand, a Russian woman, KM, was involved in a case of violence in Ubud. According to reports from local security officers, KM was found beating passersby in the Tebesaya area for no apparent reason.

Apart from that, KM was also seen sleeping around, and dancing on the side of the road while threatening people who approached her.

Even though KM denied the accusations and claimed that she had no history of mental illness or drug use, her actions threatened public order and security in Bali.

Meanwhile, ALD, a New Zealand man was involved in violent acts and threatened local residents at a tattoo studio in Seminyak.

This incident occurred on March 17, 2024, and resulted in ALD being detained by the Kuta Police before being handed over to Ngurah Rai Immigration Office.
