Aryaduta Hotels Launches the Sap7a Rasa Campaign, a Celebration of Indonesian Culinary Diversity

KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Aryaduta Hotels launched the “Sap7a Rasa” (Sapta Rasa) campaign that last from May to August 2023 at all Aryaduta Hotels across Indonesia, to celebrate International Culinary Day.

Sap7a Rasa, which means seven tastes, aims to celebrate the rich flavors of Indonesian cuisines by offering local specialties at each Aryaduta Hotels that reflect the seven tastes, namely salty, sweet, sour, spicy, bitter, fat, and umami.

Apart from offering special dishes, Aryaduta Hotels also organizes various culinary activities, starting with programs intended for all guests staying overnight, as well as several corporate social responsibilities (CSR).

Aryaduta Hotels also conducts a collaborative program to support local small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), aimed to provide assistance and support to local MSMEs through marketing, distribution, or exhibition activities.

“The highlight of this event is actually to celebrate the International Culinary Day that falls on July 27, 2023,” said Arthur Situmeang I, as Group Director of Marketing & Communications of the Aryaduta Hotel Group, Wednesday (5/10/2023).

Meanwhile, RM Rendy Prapanca, General Manager of Aryaduta Bali said, Aryaduta wanted to participate in an international event to further introduce the Indonesian extraordinary culinary delights.

In this culinary campaign, Rendy continued, Aryaduta Bali holds a series of culinary events based on the concept initiated by Aryaduta Hotels Group, starting with promoting the Megibung Balinese Rijsttafel menu a form of preserving Balinese traditions, especially culinary originating from the Karangasem regency.

“The dishes featured in it include Betutu Chicken, Sate Lilit, Lawar Papaya, Grilled Fish & Shrimp, Chicken Dry Skin, and some chili sauces. To complete the Megibung experience, this menu is complemented by a fresh dessert, Daluman, which will be served lavishly,” said RM Rendy Prapanca.

This special menu will be a signature menu throughout May-August and will also be served at an ethnic buffet on International Culinary Day in July and can be ordered by coming directly to Henrys Restaurant and making a reservation in advance.

The next activity that will be carried out in June is the CSR program by holding a Cooking Class activity with orphanages around the hotel area to provide cooking skills for these children, at the event the hotel will also invite in-house guests to participate.

“The peak of this culinary campaign activity will be held on July 25, 2023. Aryaduta Bali to add special traditional menus at breakfast for hotel guests and as a closing series of campaigns, Aryaduta Bali will hold a Night Market with the theme of Jajanan Pasar (Traditional Snacks),” he said.
