UBUD, Bali (BPN) – The Chris Salans Group announces the first-ever event of its kind at Mozaic Restaurant Gastronomique in Ubud, on Saturday, March 20th, 2021.

Vegan and Vegetarian Gastronomy has taken the culinary world by storm in recent years due to increased awareness of the environmental footprint, animal abuse, and health benefits of a plant-based diet.

In collaboration with Island Organics Bali, Chef Chris Salans will be hosting a unique dinner event to prove to the residents of Bali that vegetables, legumes, and herbs can be combined to create an equally rewarding and amazing gastronomic experience.

Farmer Rama of Island Organics Bali and Chef Chris Salans of Mozaic have been working together for many years developing seasonal produce of unparalleled quality for Chris’ restaurants.

The two of them have decided to share the fruit of their passion by putting together a unique and incredible gastronomic dining experience at Mozaic restaurant focusing on locally grown seasonal organic fruits, vegetables, and spices, marrying them with exclusive products from around the world.

“At Mozaic, we have always believed in sourcing as many ingredients locally as possible. Sourcing locally helps us to capture local flavors, cut our environmental footprint, and deliver the freshest possible food to your table. We then pair these local staples with delicious precious ingredients sourced from around the world,” Chef Salans said.

Meanwhile, Farmer Rama explained that he believes in vegan and vegetarian cuisine as a much better way of life.

“Like our farms, the human body is an organic ecosystem that needs various components to support itself. Our farm grows many varieties of items to ensure that our soil is established and healthy so eat up and enjoy diversity,” he said.

Dinner reservations will be available from 5.00 pm until 8.00 pm. Guests can make a reservation for the ‘Earth to Table’ dinner by visiting Mozaic’s official website.
