KUTA, Bali (BPN) – If you are staying around Seminyak and want to enjoy Indonesian food in a cool and cozy atmosphere, try visiting the RiceTable Indonesian Restaurant. Located in Desamuda Village, one of the best villas in Seminyak, Kuta, the restaurant serves a variety of Indonesian dishes, one of the best-selling signature menus is Desamuda Rijsttafel.

The Desamuda Rijsttafel menu is inspired by traditional serving menus from the colonial period. This menu presents 17 types of dishes and three types of desserts including drink.

The menus in Desamuda Rijsttafel are chicken soup, rice, fried prawn, bakwan sayur (mix fried vegetable fritter), fried chicken with soya, cap cay (mix vegetable), gado-gado (steamed vegetables in peanut sauce), fish satay, chicken satay, chicken curry, chicken barbeque, rendang, fried shrimp with chili coconut sambal, sweet and sour squid, fried noodle, fern curry, potato fritters, stir – fried mushroom, pickles and es campur (mixed fruit with crushed ice) for dessert.

It will take time to finish all the dishes, but don’t worry if the food will get cold, because in the serving, the dishes are placed on Rechauds, a food warmer with a flame underneath.

According to F.X. Anindito S as F & B Manager of Desamuda Village, this menu can be enjoyed by two to six guests at the price of only Rp. 195.000 ++ per pax.

This Rijsttafel menu becomes more enjoyable considering the restaurant is surrounded with Indonesian cultural atmospheres. So that visitors will not only feel they are just in Bali, but also generally in Indonesia.

The restaurant which is opened daily starting at 7.00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m has a total of 60 menus using local spices, that’s make the dishes here have a very distinctive Indonesian taste.

The RiceTable Indonesian Restaurant is located on Jl. Raya Basangkasa No.30A, Seminyak, Kuta, has a capacity of up to 50 people so it is also suitable for party, such as birthday, wedding and gathering.

And if you come and book for more than 10 guests, the restaurant will present Balinese Dance during enjoying the delicious foods of Bali and Indonesia.

If you want to enjoy western food, Desamuda Village also provides it through a cafe called DOTS (Desamuda on the Street Cafe) Café, which is located right in front of the entrance to this villa. This cafe specifically serves western food. In addition, at DOTS Cafe you can also enjoy a variety of refreshing drinks and coffee. While all these dishes can also be enjoyed while watching live music every Friday night.
