DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Indonesia’s largest local e-commerce company, Blibli.com, shows their commitment to support the development of SMEs in Indonesia through the competition for the national young creative entrepreneurs for the third time, The Big Start Indonesia (TBS) Season 3. TBS Season 3 is ready to be held with a total prize worth Rp1.1 Billion and Bali becomes the 3rd region in to hold the roadshow series which will be held on August 3- 5, 2018 at sports hall (GOR) Ngurah Rai, Denpasar.
Carrying the spirit of “Buktikan Kepada Mereka” (Prove to Them), TBS Season 3 is expected to answer the biggest challenge of young Indonesian entrepreneurs to scale-up their business larger and wider market share.
“This year, The Big Start Indonesia Season 3 will be bigger by holding roadshows to five regions, and Bali is the 3rd region in this series. Blibli.com sees that Bali is very familiar with the patterns of tourist’s consumption. TBS season 3 is expected to further encourage local entrepreneurs to go through the international market and to continue to expand their business even bigger,” Maria Hermina, Senior Brand Strategy Manager of Blibli.com explained.
Dhamar Perbangkara, 2nd winner of TBS Season 1 and Founder of Gauri, also shared their experiences in this competition. “Following The Big Start Indonesia Season 1 provides new experiences, adding more connections and useful information to grow my business to a more advanced level. As a young entrepreneur, we must always innovate and learn to find new strategies in order to continue to exist in a competition which is getting tighter,” he said.
TBS Season 3 is expected to invite more young entrepreneurs who will be curated into 20 finalists. Participants who successfully qualify will continue to the quarantine stage, where they are provided with e-commerce knowledge, utilization of social media, financial management, tax, and law to intellectual property rights (HAKI) protection, until four finalists will be selected to advance to the grand final.
At the roadshow, visitors can see and shop for local products at the open market, follow talkshows of local heroes or young entrepreneurs, as well as various community and entertainment activities.
