DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – One of the country’s biggest flour factory Sriboga, launched its latest product special for cake. Yokozuna flour was introduced to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) of cake entrepreneurs in Bali through a seminar and baking business solution demo in Denpasar on Thursday.
According to Irfan Wahyudi, Sriboga’s Retail Sales & SME Manager, Bali as one of the world’s best destination is a potential market for the newly launched flour.
“As many as 80 percent of hotel, restaurant and cafe in Bali already use Yokozuna Flour for cake. While SMEs and cake business people are only 20 percent,” he said.
While Panca Indria Pristiawan, Training & SCC Manager added, the seminar and baking demo also provided education towards the trending cake business using social media, making recipes and business management.
“This activity is also to motivate cake SMEs in the island on how to developing the business. The prospect so far is quite bright along with innovation and the effectiveness of social media,” he explained.
Panca also explained that Yokozuna flour contains no ash and it makes the flour whiter and healthier.
At the same time, Chef Rudi Nasrudin, one of the chefs who gave the baking demo, Yokozuna is a perfect choice for baking cake because it is specially produced for cake and as the results the cake are more moist, has better volume, more soft and the cake just easier to shape before baking.
