DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 countermeasure acceleration Dewa Made Indra said new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on the island increased by 12, all of whom are Indonesian, as of Friday, April 10.
“In total, there are 75 confirmed cases in Bali. As many as 19 patients have recovered and two foreigners had died of the disease,” Dewa Indra said in a press statement in Denpasar, on Friday.
Dewa Made Indra advised the community to keep applying physical distancing with other people because many of them have been infected with coronavirus without any symptom.
While the Indonesian Government announced that confirmed cases of the coronavirus have occurred in all 34 Provinces in Indonesia.
This is after Gorontalo Province recorded the first case, bringing the total confirmed cases in Indonesia to 3,512, by Friday.
According to Government Spokesperson for COVID-19 control and prevention Achmad Yurianto, recovered patients now reached a total of 282, and death toll to 306.
DKI Jakarta is still becoming the province with the highest number of cases in Indonesia. As of Friday, Jakarta recorded around 50 percent of the national number, which is 1,753 confirmed cases, and 154 fatalities.
