DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Kodam IX / Udayana (the 9th regional military command) will hold a cycling event called Bike for Bali 72.7 Km which will be held on Sunday, 15 December 2019, in Denpasar. As stated by Kapendam (military command spokesperson) Kav. Jonny Harianto G, S.I.P., in his press release, this event is as part to commemorate the Day of Struggle of the Indonesian Army.
According to Kapendam, this momentum is used as an effort to make a positive contribution to improving tourism in Bali. Besides, to motivate and cultivate a healthy lifestyle through cycling activities to the wider community.
Kapendam revealed that Bike for Bali 72.7 Km is open to the public and free of charge, and for the first 250 registrants will get a jersey.
“Registration is carried out from 10 to 14 December 2019, at 7 AM until 3 PM, located at the Jasdam IX / Udayana Office, Praja Raksaka housing complex, Kepaon, Denpasar,” said Kapendam.
Bike for Bali 72.7 Km will be held on Sunday at 5.30 AM with the starting point at Gor Praja Raksaka, Kepaon, Denpasar, with Pit Stop 1 in front of Mako Brimob, Tohpati, Denpasar, and then head to Pit Stop II at Yonzipur 18 / YKR Gianyar. The returning track will go through JL. By Pass Ida Bagus Mantra, heading to JL. By Pass Ngurah Rai, and finish at Taman Inspirasi Mertasari Sanur, South Denpasar.
