CANGGU, Bali (BPN) – With the theme “Denoting the Beauty of Endek,” Citadines Berawa Beach Bali celebrated its second anniversary on Friday, February 10, 2023, by holding a number of activities that highlighted the sustainability and preservation of Endek, the Balinese traditional hand-woven fabric that has been a part of the Balinese people for generations.

Citadines’ “Denoting the Beauty of Endek” campaign also supports local artists and craftsmen in their efforts to preserve Balinese culture, embrace MSMEs, and educate visitors about Balinese culture in the hopes that this will aid in the preservation of Balinese culture and the livelihood of traditional artisans.

In order for guests to directly observe the traditional processes or purchases, the hotel also included Endek weavers, wood sculptors, and Balinese painters in the lobby area.

Activities to clean up the beach with eco-friendly equipment were added to the sequence of events.

The event was concluded by awarding travel agents who have worked together and developed positive relationships with Citadines Berawa Beach Bali.
