Bali COVID-19 Update: 13 Patients Recover from Coronavirus as of April 25

DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Bali recorded 13 patients have recovered from COVID-19 as of Saturday, April 25, bringing the total number to 70.

“Today we have 13 recovered patients, all are Indonesians. 12 of them are Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) and one non-worker,” said Dewa Made Indra, Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 task force, in Denpasar, Saturday.

Besides, Dewa Indra also announced six new confirmed cases on the island, bringing the total number to 183, consists of eight foreigners and 175 Indonesians.

“There are six new cases. All are Indonesians which consist of one PMI, one got infected from other regions in Indonesia, and four local transmissions,” said Dewa Indra.

As for the death toll, Dewa Indra continued, remained four, and confirmed patients under treatment amounting 109. They are treated at 12 referral hospitals in Bali and or quarantined under the authorities’ surveillance.

As for the COVID-19 update in the country, the government announced an additional 40 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number to 1,042.

While the number of death toll also increased by 31, bringing the total number to 720.

“We also have 396 new confirmed cases as of today. So in total, the confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Indonesia reached 8,607,” said the government spokesperson Achmad Yurianto, in Jakarta, Saturday.
