DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 task force Dewa Made Indra announced four patients have recovered on the island, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 42, as of Monday, April 20.
“We have good news that four patients have recovered, and no addition on the death toll,” he said in a statement on Monday.
Dewa Indra also stated that Bali recorded five new confirmed cases, four of them are imported cases and one local transmission, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 140, consist of eight foreigners and 132 Indonesians.
“We also record 95 patients under treatment in 11 referral hospitals in Bali,” Dewa Indra said.
Indonesia Government recorded the recovered COVID-19 patients in total have reached 747 after another 61 patients have recovered as of Monday. While the death toll reached 590.
According to the government spokesperson Achmad Yurianto, Jakarta becoming the province with the highest number of recovered patients with 230, followed by East Java 98, South Sulawesi 63, West Java 56, Central Java 51, Bali 42, and other provinces which in total reached 747 patients.
Achmad Yurianto also announced 185 new confirmed cases in the country, bringing the total number to 6,760, as of Monday.
