DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced five new confirmed cases as of Thursday, May 14, bringing the total number to 337.

“There are five new confirmed cases today. One Indonesia Migrant Worker (PMI), one who came from other regions in Indonesia, and three local transmissions,” Dewa Indra said in his official statement in Denpasar, Thursday.

Dewa Indra also announced four new recoveries, bringing the total number to 224. While patients under treatment amounting to 109.

“Most of the confirmed cases in Bali are from imported cases. While local transmissions have reached 129 people,” he said.

Nationally, Indonesia recorded 231 recoveries as of Thursday, bringing the total patients that have recovered to 3,518.

The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 568 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number to 16,006.

While for the death toll, the country recorded 15 new deaths, bringing the total fatalities to 1,043.
