DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced four new confirmed cases as of Wednesday, May 13, bringing the total number to 332.
“There are four new confirmed cases today. One Indonesia Migrant Worker (PMI) and three local transmissions,” Dewa Indra said on his official statement, in Denpasar, Wednesday.
Dewa Indra also announced five new recoveries, bringing the total number to 220. The additional recoveries came from two PMIs and three from non-PMIs.
“The number of patients under treatment (active cases) amounting to 108. They are being treated at nine hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali,” he said.
Nationally, the Indonesian Government recorded 689 new confirmed cases, bringing the total number to 15,438.
The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achamd Yurianto also announced 224 additional recoveries, bringing the total patients that have recovered from COVID-19 to 3,287.
While the death toll increased by 21, bringing the total fatalities to 1,028.
