DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Bali Government has encouraged public service offices on the island to reject any guests, visitors, or applicants if not wearing a face mask.
According to Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force, Dewa Made Indra, the decision is made under Surat Edaran (circular) No. 149/GugusCovid19/V/2020, considering there are still a lot of people going outside without wearing a face mask.
“For visitors or applicants who are not wearing a face mask, to be rejected to enter the office or the service should be postponed,” Dewa Indra said on his official statement in Denpasar, Thursday.
While for disabilities and underprivileged people, public service offices should provide a facemask to them.
Dewa Indra explained the circular is imposed on all public services in Bali, including education, banks, and financial services.
