The New TWO Islands Sparkling Shiraz, an Outstanding Quality of Australian Classic Wine

SANUR, Bali (BPN) – Living up to its commitment to continuously developing its wines, the popular TWO Islands brand introduces the New Sparkling Shiraz and making now 10 varieties in the range.

As leaders in the Indonesian Wine industry, the TWO Islands Sparkling Shiraz is an exciting addition to the TWO Islands range, this wine is rich and fruity, made for celebrating in the classic Australian Way, aged in French oak barrels before undergoing secondary bottle fermentation in the French method, Méthode Traditionnelle, made in Bali at its Sanur Winery.

Winemaker James Kalleske and his team at the helm of the 29-year-old winery, assures the new Sparkling Shiraz wine is set to make a dramatic impact on the local market.

This Two Islands Sparkling Shiraz is made using grapes from our premium vineyards in South Australia’s Padthaway & Barossa Valley.

Bottle fermented using the traditional French technique and aged 9 months in French oak barrels followed by sur – lies 12 months in a bottle, this medium-bodied sparkling Shiraz displays warming spices, raspberry compote, vanilla custard, mint leaves on aromas, and ripe berries, creamy mousse, fresh acidity, light but balanced sweetness on the palate.

This wine is complex, fruity, and lightly sweet, as this classic Australian wine should be.

“This new wine is outstanding in taste and quality,” says the owner of Hatten Wines and TWO Islands brands, IB. Rai Budarsa. He adds “To maintain our position as the market leader in Bali and throughout Indonesia, we must keep a close eye on the wine industry. Demand for quality Sparkling wine at an affordable price encouraged us to develop this wine. We make it our priority to ensure we outsource the finest grapes from South Australia and to ensure our wine is outstanding in every way.”

TWO Islands is a collection of wines originating from the wine region of South Australia, designed to offer distinct Australian wine characteristics.

TWO Islands produces modern Australian wines from our island winery in Sanur. Founded by Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, the man behind sister brand, Hatten Wines, TWO Islands began production in 2007 with just four wines.

The goal was to offer a consistent supply of import-quality products at a better value than the heavily taxed imported alternatives.

The winemakers’ team oversees the production of ten authentic and thoughtfully made wines, sourcing fruit from single vineyards across South Australia’s most iconic wine regions.

TWO Islands wines are from this rich and diverse wine land and use some of its most famous varietals.

This wine also matched and a perfect for pairing with mixed omelet, strawberry or blueberry Danish, cheese, roasted duck breast, stew beef black pepper, Nutella brownies, and corn chips.
