SANUR, Bali (BPN) – The Indonesia Australia Business Council (IABC) Bali Branch announced its brand new board members for the 2019 -2021 term on Thursday, with Ida Bagus Rai Budiarsa, known as Gus Rai Owner and Founder of Hatten Wines, will lead the organization as the President of the IABC Bali Branch. While Anthea Griffin, the Australian Consulate-General for Bali, NTB and NTT, will act as the Advisory board along with the Honorary Consul of Norway, and IB Kharisma Wijaya, Director of Segara Village.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati and the Australian Ambassador Gary Quinlan.
“For those who have any interest in starting a business, or anything related to both countries, are encouraged to join. There are a lot of benefits for the members through a networking event, seminar and other activities of IABC Bali Branch, which will lead our business to a better future,” said Ida Bagus Rai Budarsa, the new President IABC Bali Branch.
The outstanding boards members inaugurated on Thursday at Maya Sanur Resort & Spa including Ketut Rai Arya (Maya Resort), Kertawidyawati (Hatten Wines), Mark Savage (Indohomes), John Russel ( John Russel Golf), Michael J Burchett (MJB Hotelier), Maxwell M Hunt (Green Earth Plantation), Inda Trimafo Yudha (member of Badung Regency Council), I Gede Paskara Karilo (Wapa Group), Suzana Chandra (Lestari Living Group), Richard Flax (Astro Pertama Indonesia) and Tjokorda Gde Bayuputra Sukawati (Pitamaha Group).
Established in 1989, The Indonesia Australia Business Council (IABC) is a business association representing private sector business interests in commercial relations between Indonesia and Australia.
IABC working closely with the Indonesian government and The Australian Embassy in Jakarta to provide a friendly networking organization for companies, organizations and business people of all nationalities involved or interested in the business between Indonesia and Australia. While IABC Bali Branch has been established on the island since 2012.
