JAKARTA (BPN) – Indonesia’s mobile browser and content distribution platform UC Browser announced its cooperation with social football organization, Uni Papua and forms Uni Papua UC Football Ambassador Team. Through this cooperation, UC Browser hopes to continuously contribute to the local football community and supports Indonesian children in pursuing the dream of becoming a professional football player.

This collaboration will also provide an intensive football training program for a week to improve the ability of the participants.

Damon Xi, as the General Manager of UCWeb Indonesia and India, Alibaba Digital Media and Entertainment Group, said that UCWeb present as part of the local football community and wants to contribute to the development of football in Indonesia.

“Uni Papua UC Browser Team will become our brand ambassador team and represent the image of UC Football,” Damon said.

As mobile browser and content distribution platform in Indonesia, UC Browser always provides the latest football content that can meet the needs of its users.

“As a browser with more than 40 million active monthly users in Indonesia, we hope to support the local football community by supporting talented young players in Indonesia. We also hope to reach a wider community to join in this positive initiative in realizing the dreams of Indonesian children,” Damon said.

Meanwhile Harry Widjaja, Founder and CEO of Uni Papua, said that he appreciated and thanked UC Browser for its contribution and support in arranging football philanthropic campaign for the kids.

“This collaboration is very meaningful for Uni Papua and the kids. We are very happy to see these children have the opportunity to improve their skills, expand friendships and enrich their experiences. Hopefully this kind of cooperation can continue to provide more valuable opportunities for children in Indonesia,” Harry Widjaja hoped.
