DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – To support the government advisory on Social and Physical Distancing, Denpasar City Government now presents an online shopping service at the biggest traditional market in Bali, Pasar Badung.
The buying and selling activities can be accessed using the Go Shop service in the Gojek mobile app, from 7 AM to 10 PM.
“Basic needs are still available and can be purchased with the Go Shop service on the Gojek application,” said Director of Denpasar Sewakadarma Market IB Kompyang Wiranata, quoted from the Denpasar City Government release, on Thursday.
While the Head of Denpasar Public Relations and Protocol Dewa Gede Rai added that the entire process of purchasing and delivering orders will be adjusted to mitigate the handling of the coronavirus.
At Pasar Badung, visitor must use hand sanitizer, and disinfectant fluids are also provided for vehicles and motorists.
Besides, the Pasar Badung has also been equipped with two Disinfecting Chamber and every visitor who wants to enter the market is required to enter the disinfecting chamber.
“People just stay at home, shop for basic needs through online, as a social and physical distancing implementation to cut the spread of COVID-19, protect yourself and protect others,” Dewa Rai said.
