DENPASAR, Bali (BTN) – New Melati Salon Denpasar celebrated its 40 years of work in Bali’s hair beauty industry through the event titled The Fabulous Forty, on Thursday. This event also marked this beauty shop as the first and only Kérastase Institute in Bali.

As a Kérastase Institute, that has collaborated with Kérastase Indonesia for over 10 years, New Melati presents a personalized and luxurious ritual of scalp and hair care with rooms that are designed in such a way as to provide an unforgettable treatment experience.

“In our 40th celebration of hair beauty, being chosen to the Kärastase Institute is an award that we are very proud of. Not only that we can provide more value for our clients with a highly personalized and luxurious series of Kérastase rituals, but also develop our business and attract more clients,” said Swan Dewi, owner of New Melati.

Meanwhile, Hendra Purjaka, Brand General Manager Kérastase Indonesia said, that the Kärastase Institute is one of the three most exclusive Kärastase models, which also features a hot stone body massage as one of the signature massages that can only be found at the Kérastase Institute.

New Melati is a three-generation beauty shop founded by Ketut Chandri in 1953 under the name Melati Salon. In 1971, her daughter, Ni Nyoman Wisilawati, inherited the management to then formed New Melati Salon in 1978.

The third generation, Swan Dewi, continues this family business in 1997. In 2005, New Melati started its collaboration with Kérastase Indonesia which makes it one of the luxury hair care destinations that is recommended by hair lovers in Bali.
