BADUNG, Bali (BPN) – Badung Police Chief AKBP Yudith Satriya Hananta is furious with criminals act in the Badung Police territory such as the case of mugging that once wounded the victim since criminals usually pull the victim’s bag by force and even causing the victim to have traffic accident.
Therefore, Yudith ordered the officers not to hesitate to take sharp action on site based on the SOPs (standard operating procedure) if the perpetrators were to fight back against the officers, or threaten the life of the victim.
“We will take firm action against the perpetrators in our territory. I order Badung Police officers to take on site shooting of the perpetrators but should be done in accordance with the procedure. This act is to suppress crime rates in our jurisdiction where most of the criminality Badung Police territory is dominated by the case of thievery,” Yudith said to Badung Police officials on Wednesday.
In addition, Badung Police continues to create secure environment in the region by increasing patrols in areas prone to crime such as tourist attractions and densely populated residential areas, and by making coordination with leaders of the community and pecalang (Bali traditional guards).
Yudith Satriya Hananta also showed his appreciation to all Badung Police personnel for their good performance.
On the other side, he also explained has deployed one-third of Badung Police force for Operation Sekat which routinely conducted by assigning armed personnel on tourism objects, crowded areas and other important areas.
Last but not least, Yudith advised that all officers to take care of their health and family’s harmony so that they can carry out their tasks maximally, give the best service to the society to create first class performance, Professional, Modern and trusted services.
