JIMBARAN, Bali (BPN) – Following up on its recent one-year anniversary, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali hosted the President and VP Operations for Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts Asia, Mark Willis and Gerard Hotelier, during a tour of the region.
To coincide with this official visit, an afternoon event was conducted at Katha Lobby Lounge on 18th April 2018 to formally welcome both executives to Bali. Key travel partners and media representatives were invited to this meet and greet session where the success of Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali was also celebrated.
The gathering was the perfect mix of business and pleasure as Mark Willis, in his capacity as President for properties in Asia, shared details about future developments pertaining to the Mövenpick brand. He began by explaining that Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali has exceeded all expectations during its first year of operation, as well as the team and management under the leadership of Horst Walther-Jones was praised for his commendable leadership skills and enforcement of Mövenpick standards.

Mark Willis summed up by explaining that Mövenpick is currently focusing on its global growth. In Asia alone, there will be five key openings in premier destinations such as the Maldives, Hua Hin, Khao Yai, Sylhet and Kuala Lumpur, which will be strategically marketed to attract both business and leisure travellers.
