DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Indonesia Hotel Front Liners Association (HFLA) Chapter Bali celebrated its 16th-anniversary celebration through a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The activity was held along with 22 hotels and other hospitality associations to Lascarya Parama Seva Foundation, which provides support for underprivileged communities and children in rural areas at Tianyar, Karangasem Regency, on Sunday, 18 June 2023.
I Gusti Ngurah Putu Yudy Suardana, Chairman of Indonesia HFLA Chapter Bali said the goal of the CSR is to provide assistance to a local charitable organization that focuses on social, humanitarian, and religious matters.
“This year’s CSR activity is at Lascarya Parama Seva Foundation, which provides support for underprivileged communities and children in rural areas,” he said.
The CSR involved the distribution of food packages and school supplies to children in need and local households. Additionally, volunteers also visited a nearby tourist attraction, the Savana, to promote responsible tourism.
“We are grateful for the support of Indonesia HFLA Chapter Bali and the other hospitality brands and associations in this CSR activity. The support provided by this collaboration will make a meaningful difference in the lives of the underprivileged communities and children we serve,” said I Made Putu Kawi Suardana, head of the Lascarya Foundation.
“Our foundation has been working hard to support those in need, but we cannot do it alone. We need the support of the community and other organizations to make a meaningful impact. We are humbled and thankful for this opportunity to work with the HFLA Chapter Bali and other hospitality brands and associations to achieve our shared goal of improving the lives of underprivileged communities and children in rural areas.”
Meanwhile, I Made Wardi Astina, Indonesia HFLA Chapter Bali’s event coordinator, stated that the association is thrilled to collaborate with other hospitality brands and associations for this meaningful CSR activity.
“By combining our strengths and resources, we can make a positive impact in the community and help those in need. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the Lascarya Foundation and contribute to their efforts in making a difference in the lives of underprivileged communities and children in rural areas,” he said.
