JAKARTA (BPN) – The government spokesperson for COVID-19 response, Achmad Yurianto confirmed as many as 103 coronavirus patients have recovered in Indonesia while the total number of positive-tested patients has climbed to 1,677, as of Wednesday.

“I would like to remind the key to the successful handling of COVID-19 is in our hands. Therefore, observe physical distancing seriously,” Achmad Yurianto said in a press conference, held at the National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB) building in Jakarta.

Achmad Yurianto explained with 21 more fatalities, the death toll from the COVID-19 has reached 157 from 136 on Tuesday.

The COVID-19 task force also has confirmed cases in 32 provinces, namely Aceh recording 5 cases, Bali 25, Banten 152, Bangka Belitung 2, Bengkulu 1, Yogyakarta 28, and Jakarta 808.

Other cases are in Jambi 2, West Java 220, Central Java 104, East Java 104, West Kalimantan 10, East Kalimantan 21, Central Kalimantan 9, South Kalimantan 8, and North Kalimantan 2.

Confirmed cases have also been reported in Riau Islands (7), West Nusa Tenggara (6), South Sumatra (5), West Sumatra (8), North Sulawesi (3), North Sumatra (22), and Southeast Sulawesi (3).

And then South Sulawesi (66), Central Sulawesi (2), Lampung (8), Riau (3), North Maluku (1), Maluku (1), West Papua (2), Papua (10), and West Sulawesi (1).
