BANGLI, Bali (BPN) – The Community Service Grant Team from Mahasaraswati University Denpasar and Warmadewa University, provided branding and marketing assistance for Balinese Koki Mas ornamental fish products located in Bangli Regency.
One of the groups that also assisted by the Bangli Regency Agriculture, Food Security and Fisheries Service is Pokdakan Koiyogan Kazoku Rana.
Pokdakan Koiyogan Kazoku, is a fish farming group, located in Bunutin Village, Bangli, Bali, and has been established since April 2022.
The business carried out in the field of fish farming business, especially Balinese goldfish.
The assistance provided by Ni Putu Anglila Amaral, S.P., M.M.A, Dr. Ida Ayu Made Dwi Susanti, S.P., M.Agb, and I Nyoman Yoga Parawangsa, S.Pi., M.Si, is one of the community partnership empowerment programs (PKM) entitled PKM Standardization of Quality and Process of Balinese goldfish as an Export Commodity at Pokdakan Koiyogan Kazoku Rana.
This program is funded by the Ministry of Education and Research.
“My team and I hope that through this assistance, we can brand Balinese goldfish as an export commodity and can be marketed widely” said Ni Putu Anglila Amaral, lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture and Business, Mahasraswati University Denpasar as team leader.
“The assistance is in the form of making packaging and packaging fish for export. It is due to fact that Balinese goldfish is one type of ornamental fish that has the potential to be developed into an export commodity,” she continued.
Meanwhile, the Head of Pokdakan, I Gede Juniariawan, expressed his gratitude to the team for the assistance provided in the form of both machinery and assistance.
“Now with the assistance provided they can produce more and better-quality products,” he said.
