Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort Awarded Best Choice in Sustainable Resort Award 2023

NUSA DUA, Bali (BPN) – Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort, Nusa Penida, awarded as Best Choice in Sustainable Resort Award 2023 at the Mediatama Award held in Nusa Dua on Friday (9/29/2023).

The award was held to appreciate industries that contribute towards economic development while preserving nature.

Fisson Sila Hari, CHA, S.Pd, M.Pd, General Manager of Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort, said that he is grateful that the resort received this prestigious award. 

He said that Deep Roots Dive and Yoga Resort has implemented the use of solar panels to back up electricity, preserving water by maximizing the Waste Water Treatment Plan, and initiating compost from garden waste which is recycled to be used as fertilizer. 

“In addition, in terms of bathroom amenities, wooden toothbrushes, and combs have been used to reduce the use of single-use plastic. Further, refillable water bottles have also been used in all cottages,” he said.
