DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – One of Bali’s talented sister singers Alien Child launched their newest single and video clip titled Your Love in electro pop genre on Saturday, June 2, on their Youtube channel. This song also became one of the songs included in the album “Take Off” which contains eight songs which all are in English.
Aya, 17, and Laras, 16, originally from Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, explained that the song Your Love will take its listeners into imagination of a pure and honest love.
“It’s a song about love, but it’s not merely a common love song. Your Love is about pure love, honest love. Through its lyrics, we invite listeners to free to imagine,” Laras the vocalist said on Saturday at Kubu Kopi, Denpasar.
Related to the album Take Off, Laras described this album is about all the experiences of a teenager such as love, ambition, essential questions about life, also the process of self-discovery, following personal experiences.
“We believe that teenage is the time when we are preparing “to fly to leave the nest” to reach a bright future following the maturity. That is the “Take off” moment,” she said.
In addition to Youtube, in the near future this song will also be shared through other digital platforms such as Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Deezer, JOOX, and others.
“This is the closest expression to us, considering we grew up over 11 years in Canada, and this is also part and effort in order to make our song appreciated internationally,” Laras explained.
Furthermore, Aya, an excellent talented musician playing violin, keyboard and guitar explained that the name Alien Child is not referring to a particular figure but it is a reflection to all who have ever felt alienated especially in their teenage life.
