UBUD, Bali (BPN) – One of Bali’s best hotels the Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud recently received a prestigious achievement after being named as the best in 2018 GSS Threshold GSS Program (Guest Satisfaction Score) in Asia, beating 109 other hotels throughout Asia.

The Threshold Program assessment was carried out by the Medalia Online Survey based on guests’ comments after staying at hotels in Asia, both directly and through social media. The results of the program was issued at the end of October 2018 by announcing the top 10 Best Western hotels in Asia, which Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud scored 69.9 percent in the first rank.

“The assessment was done to hotels in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, India, Thailand and other countries. Bali won the best guest services in Asia, which was represented by Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud, Gianyar Bali,” said the hotel’s General Manager Alit Martini on Friday.

According to Alit Martini, the assessment was based on a number of substances such as cleanliness of rooms, toilets, bathrooms and so on. Besides, whether the items in the room are functioning properly or not, from shower, TV, water heater, light, refrigerator and others.

Then the dining room, starting from cleanliness, menu, accuracy, and availability. There are many other items were assessed, but it all ended at the service and hospitality.

“This achievement proves that the Best Western Premier Agung Resort Ubud has been recognized as a hotel with a high level of guest satisfaction,” she said.

Alit Martini stressed that this survey is very reliable considering that it did not involve the hotel’s staffs and was purely from guest’s message, impression, suggestion and opinion.

“We’re not aware of the assessment and got surprised when our hotel announced as the best hotel’s guest service in Asia. This is also a challenge, where we must maintain that achievement,” Alit Martini said.

Further, Alit Martini explained that Best Western Premier Agung Ubud Resort is ready to compete to bring Best Western brand becoming one of the best hotels in Bali and in particular Ubud.

“This extraordinary achievement is a matter of pride for me personally and for all staffs who have done their best to provide excellent service to the guests,” she concluded.
