KUTA, Bali (BPN) – The hunt for the Best of The Best Bartender to be crowned as Captain Mojito of the Year 2018 by Captain Morgan have reached burst 3 which took place at Tree Bar, Indigo Hotel Seminyak Beach Bali on Monday, April 30. The Journey of Captain Mojito Burst 3 resulting five finalists who will compete in the “Best of the Best” round with 10 other finalists from Burst 1 and Burst 2.
On this Burst 3, each participant should create cocktail based on the theme Classic Rum Cocktail, besides also an obligation to make Mojito, which they then rated based on presentation and the taste of the beverages.
Captain Mojito of the Year 2018 is organized by the Himpunan Bartender Indonesia (HBI), a bartender profession association in Indonesia aims to embrace and improve the quality of Indonesian bartenders.
“I hope whoever wins the Best of The Best stage to continue to sharpen their skills to inspire the young bartenders,” Bayu Hendra as the HBI coordinator said.
On the other hand Kristian Tampubolon as Area Manager of Bali Nusra for Diageo said that the role of bartender also related to tourism. “The more bartenders who have the skill will have a direct impact on tourism,” he explained.
