Beaches in Canggu Area are Closed to Prevent Corona Virus Spread

BADUNG, Bali (BPN) – To curb the spread of the coronavirus (COVID -19), the tourism objects in ​​Canggu, North Kuta District, Badung Regency has been closed since Monday, 30 March 2020.

“This step is taken to curb the Coronavirus spread. So that the community and tourism activities can rise again soon,” said Eka Permana, Head of North Kuta District, accompanied by Deputy of North Kuta Police AKP I Wayan Sendri.

As for tourism objects that are closed include Batu Bolong Beach, Munduk Catu Beach, Echo Beach, and Nelayan Beach.

According to Eka Permana, another thing needs to be anticipated during the closure is the security and orders situation which is vulnerable to a criminal act and social conflict.

“We will continue to coordinate with the Police and other relevant agencies both at the level of Regional Government, village official, volunteers and local customs, to create a vision to curb the Coronavirus spread,” Eka Permana explained.
