Bali Confirms One Additional Case of Positive for COVID – 19

DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Bali COVID – 19 task force confirmed one additional positive-tested case and also 11 additional patients under surveillance (PDP). This was revealed by the Chairman of the task force Dewa Made Indra in his official statement on Sunday.

Until Sunday, 29 March 2020, the total case of patients under surveillance (PDP) reached 141 people. Including the addition of 11 people consisting of eight Indonesian citizens and three foreign nationals.

The result of 100 out of the 141 tested samples, 90 tested negative and 10 tested positive COVID-19.

“We advise those who have just returned from both abroad and other the regions in Indonesia, to carry out self-quarantine at home for at least 14 days. Apply self-quarantine with discipline and responsibilities for ourselves and other safety,” he said.

Dewa Made Indra also asked people in Bali to remain vigilant and stay alert as the spread of COVID-19 shows an increasing trend at the national level.

“Everyone should pay attention and never underestimate this situation,” he said.

Last but not least, added Dewa Indra, the communities should continue to follow the government public advisory to do social distancing, restrict physical and outside activities.
