DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced 11 new confirmed cases as of Tuesday, May 26, bringing the total number to 407.
“There are 11 new confirmed cases. One from Indonesia Migrant Worker (PMI) and 10 local transmissions,” Dewa Indra said in an official statement in Denpasar on Tuesday.
Dewa Indra also announced no new recoveries reported so the total number of recovered patients remained 295.
“Patients under treatment amounting to 97. They are being treated at seven hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali,” he said.
Meanwhile, the National COVID-19 Task Force recorded 415 new confirmed cases as of Tuesday, bringing the total number to 23,165.
The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 235 new recoveries, bringing the total patients that have recovered in the archipelago to 5,877.
As for the total death toll have reached 1,418 after the country recorded 27 new deaths.
