DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Deputy Chairman of Bali COVID-19 Task Force Dewa Made Indra announced two new confirmed cases as of Monday, May 25, bringing the total number to 396.
“There are two new cases today, one Indonesia Migrant Worker (PMI) and one local transmission,” Dewa Indra said on Monday.
Dewa Indra also announced two additional recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 295.
“While for patients under treatment amounting to 97. They are being treated at seven referral hospitals and quarantine sites in Bali,” he continued.
Dewa Indra explained most of the confirmed cases are dominated by imported cases. While local transmission cases amounting to 167.
Nationally, the Government of Indonesia recorded 240 new recoveries as of Monday, bringing the total number to 5,642.
The government’s spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto also announced 479 new confirmed cases, bringing the total COVID-19 cases in the archipelago to 22,750.
As for the total number of fatalities have reached 1,391, after 19 additional deaths.
