Welcoming the New Year, Artha Graha Peduli and Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel Hold “Pasar Murah”

KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Artha Graha Peduli (AGP) once again held Pasar Murah at the beginning of 2026, precisely on Saturday, January 31, 2026. This activity is part of AGP’s ongoing social program aimed at helping communities access basic necessities at affordable prices, while also maintaining purchasing power amid fluctuations in food prices.

The implementation of Pasar Murah was supported by all business units within the Artha Graha Network, Central Omega Resources (COR), as well as strategic partners Bimoli and GulaVit.

This cross-business-unit support reflects strong synergy within the business sector to deliver tangible benefits to the community.

The Pasar Murah program is a continuation of previous initiatives that received positive responses from the public.

Through this program, Artha Graha Peduli reaffirms its commitment to being directly present in helping communities access essential food commodities at prices below market rates while ensuring quality.

In addition to providing basic necessities, through AGP Arthakes, Artha Graha Peduli also offered free health services, including health education and medical treatment for the community.

The presence of these health services is expected to provide added value and increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining good health.

During the event, AGP provided various subsidized basic-needs packages, such as rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, and other food commodities, allowing the public to purchase them at more affordable prices.

This program also serves as a form of support for government efforts to control food inflation and stabilize prices at the consumer level.

A representative of Artha Graha Peduli stated that Pasar Murah is not merely a ceremonial activity, but part of a series of sustainable social programs designed to address real community needs.

“This Pasar Murah reflects our concern for the community’s economic conditions. Following the successful implementation of previous programs, we are continuing this initiative so that its benefits can be felt more broadly and sustainably. In this edition, Pasar Murah is conducted door to door as well as in business unit areas within the Artha Graha Group and Artha Graha Network,” said Triyono, Field PIC of Artha Graha Peduli Bali.

The Pasar Murah program was also carried out simultaneously across Bali Province, in collaboration with Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel and Artha Graha Peduli Bali.

The activity took place at five locations: Banjar Segara, Banjar Anyar, Banjar Tebe, Banjar Pesalakan, and Wantilan Wisma Bayu Kuta.

The selection of these locations aimed to reach communities more evenly, particularly in areas with high demand for access to affordable food.

General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Luis Daniel Garcia, stated that the hotel’s involvement in Pasar Murah reflects the commitment of the business sector to supporting the welfare of surrounding communities.

“We witnessed the success of last year’s Pasar Murah, which delivered a positive and tangible impact on the community. Therefore, this year we are once again collaborating with Artha Graha Peduli to ensure that the program continues and reaches more people in need,” he said.

In addition to easing the burden on the community, Pasar Murah is also expected to contribute to maintaining balanced food distribution and preventing potential price spikes, particularly for strategic commodities that significantly impact inflation.
