GIANYAR, Bali (BPN) – The Covid-19 pandemic for the past two years has forced a number of tourism actors to create a new and fresh concept for their businesses, in an effort to attract consumers back.
One of them is the UC Silver Restaurant & Cafe, which is now appearing with a new face and name, Ubud Corner Kitchen. In addition, Ubud Corner Kitchen also launches a new look for the signature menu, Bebek Ungkep (duck cooked in various spices), which is currently served on a hot plate.
The changes are made as an effort to give more color to welcome back Bali’s tourism in the hope of an increase in the number of visits after the pandemic.
Jero Elis as the management representative of Ubud Corner Kitchen under the UC Silver & Gold explained that the UC Silver Restaurant & Cafe officially changed its name to Ubud Corner Kitchen on July 13, 2022, located in Jalan Raya Batubulan, Gianyar, Bali.
“With these changes, we hope that we will be able to increase the number of visits, which previously fell due to the pandemic. However, our new face still doesn’t change the delicacy of the foods and of course, the prices are still affordable,” said Jero Elis, Friday (15/3/2022).
She also explained that the Ubud Corner Kitchen opens from 9 AM to 10 PM, where customers can enjoy 5-star dishes at very affordable prices while visiting the UC Silver & Gold Museum.
She admitted that the reopening of Bali’s tourism has had a positive impact on the company, where at least from June to July 2022, tourist visits began to increase to reach 70 vehicles every day.
Meanwhile, Ni Putu Elistya Putri, HRD of UC Silver & Gold, said that the Ubud Corner Kitchen is different and unique.
“Ubud Corner Kitchen provides a new experience for customers since it is also part of UC Silver’s area that consists of 3 facilities that make this place a different one,” she said.
Elistya Putri closed by explaining that UC Silver is ready for gathering and educational tour of the world’s biggest and longest silver-made dragon.
