KUTA, Bali, (BPN) – Bali-based band The Bardogs finally unveils their newest single titled Top of the World, the follow-up to their breakthrough debut Southern Soul, which features ten all-new songs that chronicle the band’s transformation into an international action over the last two years.
The Bardogs’ frontman, Aulya Rahman, said of the band’s new material, that they are definitely evolved as a band and so has our music. This new album represents the true Bardogs sound, from songwriting to style.
“When I compare it to our first record, which was heavy on Southern Rock and Blues, I think about how we have grown even stronger as a band through these last few years but still root ourselves in that Southern Rock harmonic tradition. In writing this new record, we found freedom from limitations that pushed us musically and lyrically,” he said in a press conference at The Orchard Bar & Restaurant on Thursday.
“Top of the World”, the title track from the new album, releases July 15, 2022, on SOULsvc Records to more than 700 digital streaming platforms worldwide, including Joox, Tik Tok, Amazon, iTunes, Instagram, Google Play, Spotify, Bandcamp, Tidal, Shazam, and Pandora.
The band will kick off their summer and fall concert appearances with a July 23rd return to their home turf at The Orchard, the venue that launched their European “Crossroads Tour” in 2018.
