KUTA, Bali (BPN) – Taiwan Excellence has come to Bali displaying Taiwanese products to the people of Bali and its international visitors, at Discovery Shopping Mall, May 25-27. Taiwan Excellence which has been promoted in Indonesia for nine years, features 43 of Taiwan’s best brands, targeting the potential growing economy in Bali.
Jeffrey S.C. Hsiao, Director General of TETO (Taipei Economic and Trade Office) in Surabaya said that Taiwan Excellence presents innovative technology that will answers customer’s needs in Indonesian market and Bali, along with its ability to compete.
“Taiwan Excellence is to make people aware of Taiwanese products, so they can know more about our products. These products have passed a tight selection before recognize as Taiwan Excellence,” Jeffrey said, in Kuta on Friday.
Jeffrey explained that Indonesia is Taiwan’s 14th largest trade partner. In 2017, the bilateral trade between the two countries reached US$ 8 billion demonstrating annual growth of 15%. Taiwan has long-term economic and trade interaction with Indonesia with frequent bilateral business activities between them. They have similarly established positive cooperation in the field of science and technology, agriculture, fisheries, law, labor, tourism, education and culture.
Taiwan Excellence includes some of Taiwan’s famous brands such as Acer, ASUS, and GIGABYTE, as well as Taiwan Excellence products in the fields of ICT (Information Communication Technology), smart home, sports & leisure, biotechnology and medical care. Beside, this event also includes daily doorprize.
Organized by BOFT (Bureau of Foreign Trade), the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Taiwan Industry Image Enhancement Project (IEP Project), and implemented by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council), Taiwan Excellence also features a drawing game using Dr. Board’s interactive projection, to that enable visitors to experience Taiwan’s technological advances in a fun way.
Other products such as the automatic fill light, space-saving, non-reflective BenQ Smart Screen Hanger, FECA Suction Cup, which combines aesthetic value with powerful vacuum industrial suction technology, and Sleepbank, which combines Sleep Frequency Technology (SFT) with Schumann resonance frequency, and other hi-tech products that showcase Taiwan’s technological sophistication.
