UBUD, Bali (BPN) – After finishing 9 workshops of the “Karya untuk Bangsa” series in Magelang and Jakarta, Plataran Indonesia held the third workshop in Bali in collaboration with a young generation community called YOUTHTOPIA in Plataran Ubud, Bali.
Together with YOUTHTOPIA, a place for all young changemakers to find community and uplift each other. Every young person can be a changemaker, but not everyone knows where to start.
YOUTHTOPIA comes with a vision of accelerating positive change through the leadership of youth, especially regarding climate change and social inequities.
Plataran invited 25 youths from around Plataran Ubud to take part in the activity. YOUTHTOPIA introducing its bye bye plastic bags program, the history of YOUTHTOPIA, the changemakers’ journey, and tips on how to be a changemaker.
Kay Tadjoedin, Corporate Director of Marketing at Plataran Indonesia, said Plataran is proud and supports Indonesia’s Gen Z to make changes for a better future.
“This event is a form of Plataran’s concern for nature and society, in line with Plataran Indonesia’s pillars, namely Nature, Culture, and Community,” said Kay.
The workshop on how to become a changemaker was held at Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa on January 24 2023 at 10.00, surrounded by beautifully manicured gardens overlooking a stunning panorama of verdant paddy fields, a refreshing pool, and a sacred temple that is aged more than 100 years old.
