DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – PHMHOTELS is organizing Art Music Festival 2021 from 12 October to 25 November 2021 to celebrate its annual art event OCTOBART.
Taking place in all hotels of PHMHOTELS (THE HAVEN, THE 1O1, 1O1 URBAN, and FRii) in Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Malang, Palembang, Bali, and Gili Trawangan, Art Music Festival encompasses a wide range of art activities including music compilation, a photography exhibition, a painting workshop and discussions exploring creativity and individual empowerment.
Art Music Festival is more than a great opportunity to support local artists. It is also the perfect getaway for art and music lovers who like to discover inspiration.
“The festival is a celebration of art and music and will be held both offline and online for a month,” says Marcia Amandary, Director of Brand & Creative for PHMHOTELS. “We strive to highlight independent talents and give local artists a chance to showcase their work.”
The festival features some attractive programs namely AM Indie Music Session (12 October – 25 November 2021).
AM Indie Music Session provides a platform that plays a curated playlist of indie music in all hotels of PHMHOTELS. The hotel lobby is becoming the new hub of indie music where guests can sit down and listen to nostalgic songs or discover new tracks. AM Indie Music Session is also giving a chance for independent musicians to send their recorded tracks to be in the playlist.
There’s also AM Art Exhibition (25 October – 25 November 2021) that features 5 photographs by 5 winners of the Photography & Digital Art Competition, along with works from local artists’ collections.
The exhibition shares the compelling story of “Traveling Di Indonesia Aja” as support by PHMHOTELS for the tourism industry to recover from the impact of the pandemic.
Another program is AM Painting Workshop (20 November 2021). Collaborating with Bartega Studio, PHMHOTELS is inviting everyone to express themselves on the canvas and make their own masterpiece at the AM Painting Workshop.
This workshop will be held on Saturday, 20 November 2021 at 13:30. Bringing the theme of #DiIndonesiaAja, the event is open to everyone with or without any background in painting. Anyone can enjoy the fun and interaction of AM Painting Workshop for free through an online streaming platform.
And then IG LIVE – AM Art Discussion (22 October & 12 November 2021). PHMHOTELS will also go live on Instagram with collaborating partners, Bartega Studio & Orchid Forest Cikole, for art and music discussions.
Anyone can join to ignite their inner creativity with these fun and insightful talks. Topics that will be brought are about improving mental health by doing art “virtual painting with Bartega” and enjoying the music festival “the future of live music concert.”
