CANGGU, Bali (BPN) – Get better acquainted with Canggu’s latest resident, All About Mie. This is a new concept from Kilo Collective, the group behind Kilo Restaurants, Behind the Green Door, and Kilo Lounge.
A celebration of Asia’s classic mie (noodle), this 42-seat eatery boasts an ethos for ‘classic handmade noodles, with a twist.
Born during the pandemic as a delivery concept, All About Mie soon proved too popular for takeaway-only, welcoming its standalone late-night noodle bar at the start of September.
All About Mie is already a firm favorite in Bali’s dining scene, courtesy of its menu’s devotion to mies from all around Asia.
Here you’ll find all the classics, like Chinese Chicken Mie, Indonesian Mie Goreng, Singapore’s Bak Chor Mie, and China’s Chow Mein. Joined by innovative interpretations, with an array of signature Mies including a Squid Ink Mie, Steak & Ginger Scallion Mie, Hoisin Duck Mie, and Chili Prawn Mie.
The ingredients are All About Mie are really the star of the show, sourced locally, with noodles handmade by the team daily.
Orders can be customized to personal preference, by choosing thick or thin noodles, with or without soup, as well as extras like sauces and spices.
There are plenty of drinks to enjoy too, with the Mie collection partnered with homemade canned cocktails courtesy of Kilo Collective – guests will be able to sip on the likes of the Watermelon Mojito, Nitro Espresso Martini, Negroni, Moscow Mule, Aperol Spritz, Skinny Bitch, Gin and Tonic, Rum and Coke, and the Jack and Coke.
All About Mie is open on Sunday to Tuesday from12 pm to 2 am, Wednesday: 12 pm – 3 am, and Thursday to Saturday: 12 pm – 4 am.
