CANGGU, Bali (BPN) – The iconic Licorería Limantour (#7 Worlds 50 Best Bars) is taking over Motel Mexicola Canggu and transporting you to the bubbling nightlife of Mexico City for one-day into night only.
This coming Tuesday 9th January, Motel Mexicola welcomes Licoreria Limantour’s founder Benjamin Padron to Canggu.
Benja is bringing his signature Margarita Al Pastor, Fluffy Paloma, and Mezcal Stalk to Bali for the first time, giving you a taste of the iconic Licorería Limantour in Mexico City.
Executive Chef Steven Skelly has prepared a special menu from the Pib Earth oven just for the occasion, featuring hand-pressed tortilla chips straight from the pib, Carnitas de pato; slow-cooked duck pickled white onions and purslane, Birria de Res; beef cheeks braised with guajillo chilli and spices, Recado Negro; Pork belly and neck cooked in Yucatan spices, and Tamales de Champinion; tamales baked in the pib with mushrooms and charred chilli salsa.
Having first opened a decade ago and recently named the Best Bar in North America, Licorería Limantour has become an institution in Mexico City’s bubbling nightlife scene.
Regarded as one of the city’s best party bars, its electric atmosphere complements a unique intimacy that welcomes even those looking for a quiet drink.
