DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The culinary program at the 17th Sanur Village Festival (SVF) has become one of the highlights at this event held at Mertasari Beach.
Visitors at the Sanur Village Festival 2024 are drawn to a variety of local and five-star culinary offerings, with one of the most popular booths being Massimo.
At the Sanur Village Festival 2024, Massimo not only showcases its iconic gelato but also other Italian delights.
Rizka Novi, the coordinator for Massimo’s booth at SVF 17, stated on Saturday (October 17, 2024) that in addition to gelato, they also offer lasagna, pizza romana, croquettes, cannoli, and Italian desserts, and others.
Since the opening day of SVF, the booth has been swamped with visitors, particularly for gelato and lasagna.
The lasagna offered is made with pure beef, ensuring that guests enjoy high-quality meat.
Rizka emphasized that one must-try item is the fried pizza, a new product from Massimo introduced exclusively at SVF 2024.
The fried pizza comes in three varieties: margherita pizza filled with tomatoes and mozzarella, calzone (closed crust) with mozzarella and tomatoes, and UFO pizza filled with ham, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, and tomatoes.
Fried pizza is a signature dish for Massimo at the festival. The flavor is quite similar to baked pizza, with Rizka claiming it is even more delicious.
“The texture is similar to baked pizza, just a bit more chewy,” she added.
During the event, which started on October 16, 2024, the booth averaged 50 portions of lasagna sold daily.
Also, with 24 gelato flavors presented at SVF, Massimo has sold thousands of gelato portions throughout the event.
According to her, visitor’s enthusiasm at SVF has been very high, and in their 13 years participating in SVF, the Massimo booth has never lacked visitors.
Although Massimo is already well-known among local and international communities, through the Sanur Village Festival, they aim to further introduce the flavors of Massimo and authentic Italian cuisine.
