DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Indonesia participated in a charity program led by the Department of Social Affairs and the Division of Women and Children under the Government of Bali, aligning with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
The donation ceremony was held at Wantilan Pura Bukit, Bukit Village, Karangasem Regency, on December 19th, 2023.
In line with its commitment to community welfare, Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Indonesia provided essential support in the form of 10 Wheelchairs, 10 Stretchers (patient stretchers), 5 Walkers (walking aids), and 50 basic food packages containing necessities like rice, sugar, and coffee.
This charitable effort was facilitated with the involvement of the Marriott Business Council, underscoring the commitment to the Serve 360 pillar.
Representing the council, Richardo Cahyo Tutuko, General Manager of Element by Westin Bali Ubud, accompanied by Franklyn Kocek, General Manager of The Stones Legian Bali, officially handed over the aid through a ceremonial donation process on Monday, December 18, 2023, at the Bali Social Service office in Renon, Denpasar.
Luh Ayu Aryani representing the Department of Social Affairs and the Division of Women and Children, expressed sincere appreciation for Marriott Worldwide Business Councils Indonesia’s commitment to social responsibility and the community well-being.
