JAKARTA (BPN) – Government Spokesperson for COVID-19 control Achmad Yurianto believes that COVID-19 patients can be recovered well. This is based on the increasing number of recovered patients in some regions in the country.
“We are grateful that as of today (Sunday, April 12), 359 have recovered. We believe that COVID-19 can be cured properly,” said Yurianto, quoted from the BNPB news release on Sunday (12/4).
The Ministry of Health recorded the recovery rate in DKI Jakarta Province as many as 142 patients, East Java 68, South Sulawesi 25, West Java and Central Java each of 19 patients.
Meanwhile, new confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased by 399, bringing the total number to 4,241 cases, while 46 people had died as of Sunday, bringing the total death toll to 373.
As for Bali, the government recorded two new confirmed cases as of Sunday, April 12. While the number of recovered patients in total reached 19, and two death toll.
