JAKARTA (BPN) – The government spokesperson for COVID-19 Achmad Yurianto said that the country has begun to be able to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Yuri explained the key is the community should comply and discipline in carrying out health restrictions and protocols advisories, as quoted from BNPB’s press release.

“If we want the cases can be controlled by June and July, we must be able to carry out the advisories. The cases have begun to be controlled and our lives have begun to get better. Some restrictions also have been reduced,” Yuri said in an official statement in Jakarta, on Tuesday.

Yuri said that COVID-19 handling cannot be carried out by just one party, but it needs people’s commitment also.

“We hope that in August things will get better, and start a new normal condition. Meaning that we run a disciplined life. Discipline to wash hands, and to follow a clean and healthy lifestyle,” he said.
