Additionally, it supports related industries such as textiles, accessories, and even the beauty industry. “So, everyone needs to collaborate,” she emphasized during the pre-event on Thursday (25 July).

Neli explained that one form of collaboration is promoting traditional textiles by collaborating with weavers and using environmentally friendly dyes.

Through this pre-event, Neli invites designers to participate in BFT 2024. She noted that several designers who participated in previous BFTs have successfully advanced and branded their products well through these events.

Neli targets 40 to 60 designers participating in BFT 2024 throughout the 3-day event.

“I hope the synergy becomes stronger, especially with many youth and fashion school students attending, so that they can brand themselves and boldly showcase their works to the public, including through Bali Fashion Trend,” she said.

Dwiko Iskandar, the Chairman of the BFT 2024 Committee, said that this pre-event aims to promote BFT 2024 and invites designers and fashion enthusiasts to participate in the event.

“We also aim for collaborations with various parties including model agencies, inviting as many models as possible from Bali, designers, and professionals in makeup and hairdo,” he explained.

Dwiko explained that besides local and national designers, BFT 2024 also plans to invite international designers.

Regarding the fashion show at the pre-event, Dwiko mentioned that it featured works from 12 designers and involved 17 models.

The showcased attire not only included modern fashion but also stylish yet modest Muslim clothing, as well as beautiful creations with traditional patterns.
