The inauguration of the Indonesian Association of Training Institutions (HILLSI) for the Bali region on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

DENPASAR, Bali (BPN) – The Regional Executive Board (DPD) and Branch Executive Board (DPC) of the Indonesian Association of Training Institutions (HILLSI) for the Bali region were officially inaugurated at the Aston Hotel Denpasar on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

The event was attended by 250 participants from various Skill Education Institutions (LPK) across Bali, marking HILLSI’s commitment to producing a competent golden generation.

The event was also filled with the “Bali Vocational Convergence Summit 2025,” which aims to improve the quality of Human Resources in the tourism sector and other sectors to be more competitive at a global level.

Head of the Bali Provincial Manpower and Energy and Mineral Resources Office, Ida Bagus Setiawan, emphasized the importance of synergy between the government, HILLSI, and industry to create alignment between industry needs and training graduates.

“We appreciate the existence of an association that accommodates skill education institutions in Bali. It is hoped that HILLSI can provide job training standardization,” he said.

Chairman I of the HILLSI Central Executive Board (DPP), Hari Rahmat Mulyadin, expressed his appreciation to the event.

“This program not only focuses on the inauguration but also on the signing of contracts with stakeholders, which is very important to ensure that training graduates are absorbed into the industry,” he said.

Chairman of HILLSI Bali for the 2023-2028 period, Anak Agung Gede Widnyana, revealed that the new management will immediately start working by designing short-term programs.

These programs include increasing synergy between LPKs, reviewing curricula with industry, and digitizing LPKs.

“We will continue to coordinate with industry to ensure our graduates meet labor market needs,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, I Gusti Ayu Fina Kaska, added that the event also included public seminars.

“We hope this event can strengthen our shared commitment to improve the quality of vocational institutes in Bali,” she said.

This event reaffirms HILLSI Bali’s commitment to improving the quality of vocational human resources to be able to compete in the dynamic global era.
