UBUD, Denpasar (BPN) – Himpunan Bartender Indonesia (HBI) a bartender profession association in Indonesia enlivened Ubud Royal Weekend by performing the art of mixing drinks on Friday July 20, 2018 at Museum Puri Lukisan Ubud. On this occasion, bartenders of HBI showed their skill in mixing drinks and flair shows. This event featured Bali’s talented bartenders who previously have participated in international bartender competition representing Indonesia.
The purpose of this Mixology show is to educate the public on how to enjoy alcoholic drinks safely and responsibly.
“We are very proud to be directly involved at Ubud Royal Weekend, and we are hoping to take part in every year of this event is held and to show new things while at the same time can be one way of education to the community on how to mix alcoholic drinks in a proper and safe way,” Komang Swasta representative of HBI said.
One of the exciting activities that attracted the visitors at the event was Mixology Exhibition, where visitors are also invited to the stage to participate in creating cocktail with using Bali’s traditional liquors, Arak and Berem.
“Hopefully this activity can be held continuously and as an opportunity for the youth to show their talents and Puri Ubud (Ubud Palace) will always support similar activities. I hope this activity will be one of the ways in promoting an interesting tourism,” Cok Tra Sukawati as representative of Puri Ubud said.
