Griya Santrian Beach Resort celebrated the 52nd anniversary with its guests by releasing 52 baby turtles.

SANUR, Bali (BPN) – Griya Santrian Beach Resort celebrated the 52nd anniversary with its guests by releasing 52 baby turtles back to the ocean on Sunday (May 26).

To commemorate the 52nd Year Anniversary of Griya Santrian, the resort has continuously supported the local community and environmental initiatives by various programs.

“The programs include social visits to the elderly at the care home, give out donations of basic needs, blood drives, fun staff activities, beach cleaning, and end with turtle release to preserve the world-famous Sanur beach ecosystem,” said  IB Gede Sidharta Putra, Owner of Griya Santrian.

The festivities closed on Sunday night with a special open stage and other celebrations amongst the staff. 

Being the first of Santrian properties, in 1972 Griya Santrian opened its doors to the public.
